Mechanic and Sales Associate Wanted

Sales Associate 1

Summary: This position requires intermediate product knowledge and experience selling in a high-end retail environment.  

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Intermediate product knowledge of the brands we sell

  • Share product knowledge and enthusiasm for bikes with customers

  • Direct customers through entire sales process

  • Record sales in the Point of Sale system

  • Attend company sponsored events

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers

  • Inventory stocking

  • Complete a multitude of daily housekeeping and office tasks


Successful completion of following orientation and training:

  • Wheel Sport sales training

  • Sales Lead product familiarization 

  • Sales Lead shadow program

  • Lightspeed training- all areas


Education/Experience: One year of bicycle retail sales experience preferred

 

Skills and Traits: Outgoing, enthusiastic, sociable, gregarious, positive attitude

 

Physical Demands:

  • Able to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this job, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions

  • Able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs

  • May work in outdoor settings for company sponsored events.

Sales Associate 2

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Detailed product knowledge of the brands we sell

  • Share product knowledge and enthusiasm for bikes with customers

  • Mentor Sales Associate 1

  • Direct customers through entire sales process

  • Record sales in the Point of Sale system

  • Attend company sponsored events

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers

  • Inventory stocking

  • Inventory orders, check-in, transfers and counting

  • Complete a multitude of daily housekeeping and office tasks

Successful completion of following orientation and training:

  • Wheel Sport sales training

  • Lightspeed training- all areas

  • Workorder check-in and checkout training

  • Bike sizing and suspension set-up


Education/Experience: One year of bicycle retail sales experience preferred

Level 2 Mechanic

Summary: This position requires a mechanic with exceptional repair and leadership skills. Must be familiar with suspension, hydraulic brakes, wheel builds, electronic shifting, e-bikes, and complete bike overhauls

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced repairs as required by customers

  • Direct and mentor Mechanic 1

  • Perform quality control checks prior to customer delivery

  • Complete advanced service diagnostics and detailed service write-up

  • Direct customers through entire sales process

  • Record sales and workorders in the Point of Sale system

  • Attend company sponsored events

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers

  • Complete a multitude of daily housekeeping and office tasks

  • Maintain high level of cleanliness and organization

Successful completion of following orientation and training:

  • Wheel Sport sales training

  • Lightspeed sales, service, and inventory training

  • Workorder check-in and checkout training

Education/Experience: One-three years bicycle mechanic experience required, including duties included in the summary above.
