Salsa Beargrease X5 2x10
Beargrease does a lot of things well, but it does speed best. Lightweight, agile, and elegant, with all excesses removed, Beargrease will happily dispel the myth that fatbikes are slow. Fly through summer singletrack or blast out winter powder laps. Beargrease is your best bet for getting from point A to point B fast, all year, over whatever terrain stands between. With 4.0-inch wide 45NRTH Husker Du tires on 80mm Surly MOBD rims, and the burly Salsa Makwa aluminum fork, the Beargrease takes direction with undeviating response. A 20-speed SRAM X5 drivetrain lets you claw up the steepest pitches, and Hayes MX Comp mechanical disc brakes paired with the giant contact patch of fat tires creates surprising stopping power so you can maintain better control into turns and down techy descents. And, when a fatbike like this tips the scales at just over 31 pounds, the word "plow" is replaces with "float," and thoughts of blasting through fresh powder and monster-trucking through wild alpine singletrack will be running through your head.
Surly Lowside
$1,200.00
Lowside is the bike that gets you across town for a quick rip on singletrack, then over to the bar for a night out. It's your BMX bike all grown up. Lowside is like the grownup version of the bike you rode when you were a kid and still had hopes and dreams and some semblance of ambition. It’s just as happy riding singletrack as it is parked outside your favorite drinking establishment. Lowside is a single speed mountain bike. Singlespeeding has been a part of Surly’s DNA since day one when we launched the 1x1 Rat Ride. After a lot of Homie Fall Fests and more feats of strength than we can recall, we decided to discontinue it a couple years back. Lowside picks up right where the 1x1 left off. Some have dubbed the Lowside the ultimate pub cruiser. - Modern trail standards: dropper post compatibility, 44mm headtube, Gnot-Boost rear spacing, thru-axles - Compatibility with most mountain bike standards makes it the perfect parts bin bike (no rim brakes allowed, though) - Spec'd in alternating years with 26 x 3.0 or 27.5 x 2.8 tires, the Lowside remains capable of running either option
Cleary Scout 26-inch 10 Speed
$860.00
The Scout 26-inch is our biggest, baddest ride. This bike twists uphill quickly and descends like water over rocks. When kids spend all day riding, they need a bike that can take some hits, while being light and compact enough that kids can carve as fast and hard as they can rev it. Happy trails!
